The Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm (whew that is a long-winded name) has quickly become one of my favorite everyday products. There are two eye balms in their skincare line the original Glow and Get It (blue packaging) and the Rose Glow and Get It (pink packaging).
Side note: would that not be the cutest baby gender reveal? The mom-to-be gets either a pink or blue Tula eye brightening balm?!? I would love it… just saying. And very practical because she could then use the balm to brighten her sure to be dark circle ridden under eyes from lack of sleep due to pregnancy and then a new baby human who I hear hate to sleep. End side note.
This stick eye balm glides on like butter and leaves behind such a pretty, subtle sheen. The original blue Glow and Get It balm has a cooler toned finish while the rose formula has a warmer toned finish. I personally prefer the Rose Glow and Get It. I feel that it compliments my skin tone better.
Is it Clean Beauty?
If you would like to learn more about Tula the company and what they are all about, I dive into that in my Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream Review.
Glow and Get It Eye Balm (blue)
Key Ingredients: Caffeine, Aloe, Apple, & Watermelon, and Blueberry. The product description states that this product is free from alcohol, fragrance, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, sodium lauryl sulfate (love it). This product contains approximately 30 ingredients.
Rose Glow and Get It Eye Balm
Key Ingredients: Rosehip Oil, Rosewater, Caffeine, Aloe, Apple, & Watermelon, and Blueberry. The product description states it is free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, sodium lauryl sulfate (yay!). I am not sure why the excluded fragrance from this “free-from” list because I did not see fragrance listed as one of the ingredients. It doesn’t have a smell that I have noticed. This formula has approximately 35 ingredients.
I LOVE when a product has some type of rose ingredient. It makes the product feel so luxurious to me and I adore a sweet, subtle rose scent. Fun fact, rose is a plant-based retinol alternative says Tula. I did not know this and makes me love rose even more!
Another side note: whilst trying to recall whether or not the rose eye balm smelled like roses, I ran downstairs to my bathroom, uncapped the stick, and took a big ole’ sniff. I’m not gonna lie it smelled a touch “chemically.” I have never smelled that before while applying the product or throughout the day wearing it. So as long as you don’t act like the weird in the corner eating glue and sniffing magic markers, you should have no issues with the “smell.”
How Much Do They Cost?
Each of these stick eye balms has 0.35 oz of products.
Original Glow and Get It – $28
Rose Glow and Get It – $30 (whhhhyyy do I always have to like the more expensive option!)
How Do They Perform?
I really appreciate the stick applicator as it makes applying this product effortless. The formula glides on so smoothly and feels so heavenly I don’t want to stop applying it (but I do because I don’t want to waste any of it!).
It does exactly as the name suggests, cools and brightens. It has a very refreshing cooling sensation and leaves a pretty light reflecting sheen without any stickiness left behind. The product stays put, it does not rub away into the skin or rub off when applying makeup over top.
Would I Recommend?
Um… if you haven’t guessed already… YES!!!! I have only used the Rose Glow and Get It formula and I really do wear it every day. It looks great under makeup as well as on bare skin. This is really a standout product for me. It feels so nice going on, looks beautiful, and stays put all day. I couldn’t ask for anything more! This blog post may contain affiliate links.
