My Week of Outfits | November 23 – 29

Green Bean Casserole Day is this week! Seriously, if that and dessert were the only two things on the menu for Thanksgiving, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I traveled back to Phoenix this week to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and to help my mom move into her new home. The moving marathon continues!

When it rains it pours, am I right?! I took a break from packing and moving 90% of my belongings into a storage unit to help move my mom and her two cats into their new condo!! Moving the cats was the most stressful part of the entire experience.

Luring and coaxing one of them into a travel carrier while my mom tricked the other into a box (it was safely done). Panicking the whole 15-minute drive that the cat in the box would spring out like a deranged jack-in-the-box and claw me to shreds. It was good times.

Disclaimer: I am a work in progress. My closet is not 100% ethical and sustainable clothing, yet! That is most definitely my goal, but I also think it would be irresponsible to get rid of the clothes I already have from my pre-ethical shopping days. For any piece that is not from an ethical, sustainable brand (or out of stock 🙁 ), I will link a similar option that is!

Monday

I feel like this is the perfect outfit to wander down the streets of London or Copenhagen in search of cozy coffee shops marveling at the old buildings. Alas, in the time of 2020, traveling abroad is a no go. Maybe next year. I’ll keep this outfit on the ready!

Tuesday

My new blog post featuring 5 Sustainable Activewear Brands went live on Tuesday. I linked a similar sweatshirt down below that is actually from Iron Roots, one of the brands featured in that post. They make athletic wear using sustainable fabrics and their Hemp Performance Hoodie looks so cozy! The leggings in this picture are actually from Girlfriend Collective, check out my full review of them here.

Wednesday

This sweater is actually from H&M and is one of the only pieces I have from them that has actually lasted a decent amount of time. I have had this sweater for a couple of years now and while I would not shop at H&M anymore, I love the color block pattern of blues and neutrals.

Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving!

Friday

I LOVE this outfit! It feels so festive and merry without the usual Christmas color palette. I feel like a damn gingerbread cookie and I love it! The different shades of brown paired with this soft, dusty pink sweater are scrumptious. This outfit would look amazing worn out for a hot cocoa date. Maybe throw on some neutral tights if it is really cold where you are 😉.

Saturday

I couldn’t decide between heels or flats for this outfit. Which do you like better? Honestly, I would always go with flats over heels because I like to be as comfortable as possible. I have featured this Girlfriend Shirt from VETTA Capsule several times, but it is one of my absolute favorite shirts. It is so versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. I would size down for this shirt as I feel it runs a bit big.

Happy Shopping!

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving, ate wonderful food, and spent time with your loved ones whether through skype or in person. The holiday season has officially begun. Who else is ready?!?! Yeah, me neither.
