My Week of Outfits | November 16 – 22

What a crazy past few weeks. I feel like so much has changed and yet so little has actually happened, the slogan of 2020. I can’t believe Green Bean Casserole Day is next week. Before we know it Christmas will be here and then we will be welcoming the new year. Mmm, more like sprinting towards that new year as if we were the younger sibling running towards are Mama to tattle on how mean our big sis, 2020, was!

Something else that happened this week, I made my first attempt at making a reel! In the true fashion of 2020, it didn’t go that well. Nothing gets my blood boiling faster than a technical issue I can not figure out. So, I have posted it below instead 🙂

Disclaimer: I am a work in progress. My closet is not 100% ethical and sustainable clothing, yet! That is most definitely my goal, but I also think it would be irresponsible to get rid of the clothes I already have from my pre-ethical shopping days. For any piece that is not from an ethical, sustainable brand (or out of stock 🙁 ), I will link a similar option that is!

Three ways to Fall Up a Summer Dress. My first attempt at a reel 😎 I wore this linen Madewell dress all Summer and with a few simple additions, I can make it work for the colder months too!

  1. Layer a sweater over top
  2. Throw on a long sleeve underneath
  3. Pair with tights and a coat

The coziest office wear outfit ever!

Thursday

When I was in Phoenix a couple weeks ago, I found this sweater in my mom’s closet and snuck it back home with me… just kidding, she willingly handed it over 😉 Seriously the coziest outfit ever, this oversized sweater tucked into my go-to everyday jeans and my wool Allbirds Loungers, perfection!

The Allbird Loungers are the coziest shoes ever! I love that I can just slip them on without socks and toss them in the wash when I need to.

This bobble-sleeve sweater from UpWest is the cutest! UpWest is one of the ten ethical brands in my Fall & Winter sweater roundup post, check out all the cozy sweaters!

Saturday

I love this outfit! The creamy neutrals with the caramel-y, rich brown accents. I thrifted this sweater and it is actually pretty long with slits on each side. To make it more of a cropped fit, I used fashion tape to stick the bottom edge of my sweater to my dress! Worked out perfectly.
